Queen’s Sport Launches Digital Couch to Relay Programme
As part of the University’s 180th anniversary celebrations, Queen’s Sport is launching a new Digital Couch to Relay programme, designed to help participants progressively build towards relay marathon distance.
The 10-week programme will begin on Monday 23 February, supporting participants through structured training in the lead-up to Relay Day on 3 May. Don’t worry if you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned 5k runner - participants will be supported at every stage as they build towards the Marathon Relay.
The programme follows a familiar weekly format, with adaptations introduced in the later stages to support the increase in distance. Weekly training programmes will be shared every Monday across Queen’s Sport social media channels. Delivered digitally, the programme allows participants to train flexibly around their own schedules while taking part in the wider 180th celebrations.
