Women’s 2nd XI Hockey squad sign shirt sponsorship with Fleet Financial
New Sponsorship
Our Women’s 2nd XI Hockey team are delighted to announce their new Sponsorship Deal with Fleet Financial. We are looking forward to finishing out a strong season, with the McConnell Shield and Irish Junior Cup still to play for.
Our Women’s club continue to dominate Ulster Hockey, recently fielding a 6th XI for the first time this season. We should also mention our 1st XI who are sitting top position, our 2nd XI currently sitting in 3rd position and our 4th XI who are currently sitting in 2nd position in their respective leagues.
Fleet Financial is delighted to support Queen’s University Hockey through shirt sponsorship. Your commitment to excellence both on and off the field is truly commendable. Here's to a continued successful season! Patrick Dobbin, Financial Controller.
We welcome our new shirt sponsor with welcome arms. The girls are delighted to wear their new kit and all support is greatly appreciated, particularly when trying to run a student club. Our 2nd XI dedicate a lot of time both on and off pitch, this year picking up strength and conditioning sessions too. We are grateful to have backing from local businesses who can see the benefit of student sport! Mark Mills, 2nd XI Head Coach.
It is an exciting time for both Queen’s Sport and Queen’s Hockey to be working with Fleet Financial for the 23-24 season. Without strong and willing partners, our Hockey club would not be in a position to support players, coaches and administrators to high standards and create an environment to promote all the benefits of student sport. We hope our partnership can continue to grow over the coming years. Chloe McAnulty, Hockey Development Officer.
Good luck to our Women’s 2nd XI who face Ashton at home in the Irish Junior Cup on Saturday 3rd February 2024, passback 14:30 on Pitch 7, Queen's Sport Upper Malone (The Dub). All support welcome!
L-R Chloe McAnulty (Hockey Development Officer), Patrick Dobbin (Fleet Financial), Mark Mills (2nd XI Head Coach) and Chloe Sweet (2nd XI Captain).
