New University 7s Tournament A Key Addition To Women's Pathway
Queen's Sport is thrilled to be a host for the upcoming IRFU University 7s competition this Spring, demonstrating our commitment to the development of the Women's Pathway.
Following the establishment of Centre of Excellence hubs at six universities earlier this year, the IRFU University 7s will unfold across four tournament days in February and March, featuring teams from each Province.
Save the date for Queen's Sport Upper Malone on 06 March, as we play a pivotal role alongside the University of Galway (28th February), University of Limerick (13th March), and SETU Carlow (20th March). These events not only strengthen collaboration between the IRFU and its University partners but also expand rugby opportunities for young female athletes across various sports within the Irish University system.
