Maximum Awards of £1,000 are available to individuals, clubs, or societies during this academic year (2023-24). For each programme award criteria and how to apply. (see below)
Programmes we have funded.
- Piangfan Naksukpaiboon achieved gold at the National Disability Archery Championships in Newport in 2023, securing the first position in the recurve barebow category.
- With the assistance of received funding, the QUB Ladies Soccer Team has experienced a significant surge in female soccer participation. The funds contributed to acquiring new equipment for the team and generating additional opportunities to
enhance participation. - The Paddlesport/Kayaking Club obtained funding in 2023 with the aim of boosting female involvement within the club. The allocated funds were directed towards the training of female club members. Over the course of the year, this initiative enables female leaders to lead additional trips, consistently promoting increased participation among female participants.
- In 2023, Conor Clarke secured financial support to compete internationally and earned recognition from the home of golf (R&A) and BUCS golf. Conor achieved representation at European level, participating in competitions held in Spain, France, Scotland, and Donegal.
