'Day For Doddie' Saturday 1 April
Queen's Rugby Football Club host fund raising lunch...
The lunch in aid of My Name'5 Doddie Foundation will take place on Saturday 1 April.
Doddie Weir was a ferocious warrior on the pitch winning 61 caps for Scotland and was also selected for the British and Irish Lions tour in 1997. His battle against motor neuron disease and his fund raising touched the rugby fraternity and far beyond.
The My Name's Doddie Foundation is close to the hearts of Queen’s especially as Will Thompson who plays for the club is the nephew of Doddie.
